Brewed earl grey tea leaves have notes of citrusy bergamot. Boil and froth your milk of choice, add an optional sweetener, and a sprinkle of lavender buds. Aromatic, citrusy, and smooth. This makes 12 oz.
Add tea leaves to a cup with a strainer or a tea ball infuser or use teabags. Pour the boiling water over the leaves and let it step for 3 minutes.
While steeping, heat the milk over medium-high heat in a heavy bottom saucepan. Whisk the milk constantly so it doesn't scald. Whisking the milk creates froth, or use a hand held milk frother for extra foam.
Once boiled, take the milk off the heat. Discard the tea leaves. Add honey to the tea and stir.
Pour the milk and foam over the tea. Sprinkle on dried lavender buds. Serve right away and enjoy!
