Honey simple syrup is just two ingredients and takes less than ten minutes to make! It's the perfect sweet addition to your drinks or to keep cakes moist with a honeylicious twist.
Add the water and honey to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Stir until dissolved.
Transfer to a glass jar and let it cool before refrigerated.

My recipe creates a thinner syrup that works great in drinks and for brushing onto cake layers for moisture and flavor. For thicker honey simple syrup, use a ratio of 2 parts honey, 1 part water.
