How To Use Dehydrated Citrus

1. Dried Citrus Garland

Garlands add a cozy atmosphere to the home during the winter and holiday season. You can add dried citrus to your pine garlands with a hot glue gun.

Or try making a dried orange slice garland and hang it up with string lights. Cut your preferred length of twine and set aside. Gently make a hole in your dried orange slices using a toothpick, chopstick, or skewer. String the oranges through the twine and tie a loop at each end to easily hang the garland. You can also cut out parchment stars and hole punch one star point. Alternate the dried oranges and stars (see my image above). Hang with these starry string lights for extra charm.

Tip: Make a few garlands to hang vertically in a window to see the dried orange slices catch the sun like stained glass!

Tip: Dried oranges are great paired with an old fashioned, dried limes work well with a cranberry mule, and blood oranges are tasty with rum based cocktails.

You can also adds slices to cheesecakes, cupcakes, and they work especially well when the dessert is citrus flavored.
