I grew up in the Chicagoland area where I had an amazing support system that encouraged me to try new things. It drove me to get a degree in marketing and then a master’s in library science. It drove me to improve my baking skills, find confidence in cake decorating, study photography, learn how to build a website, and so much more. If I wanted to learn it, I went out and did.
It all started when I had a home baking business. It taught me how to push yourself out there but my heart grew in another direction. Recipe creation. It’s hard work coming up with new recipes but I like the challenge.
Looking at my tiny corner on the Internet makes me reflect on what I want you, the reader, to take away. I hope I can be a safe place that has some cozy vibes with nice pictures to look at, and a sense of “I can do it too!” Looking at the world with wonder takes a lot of courage but don’t forget that we’re in it together,

Behind the blog
My Home Baking Business
I used to be a home baker! It all began by making sugar cookies and decorating them for a bee themed baby shower. Next thing I knew, I had people I’d never met before texting me if I was available for business.
It was an amazing experience to be such a huge part in people’s special occasions. That experience challenged me to improve my baking and decorating skills and I will be forever grateful for it.
